The building design has an imposing architecture expressed through the bold massing, excessive cantilever and cold materiality.
The detention centre design facilitates the humane treatment of the detainees while ensuring the safety and satisfaction of each staff member. It accommodates male, female and juvenile detainees. The plan includes two separate but interconnected sections with a central administration area.
